Welcome to Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center. Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings, courses, and trips with us.
Refund Policy:
Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center's refund policy attempts to accommodate its guests' needs as much as possible in accordance with the following guidelines:
· FULL REFUND: If cancellation by our guest takes place more than 7 days prior to the scheduled start of the dive trip or course.
· 50% REFUND: If cancellation by our guest takes place more than 3 days prior to the scheduled start of the dive trip or course.
· NO REFUND: If cancellation by our guest takes place 3 days or less from the scheduled start of the dive trip or course, or in the event of a guest being absent at the scheduled start time of the diving trip / course.
Please note that the above terms & conditions are what you should expect as the worst-case scenario. Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center will do everything possible to keep cancellation / amendment costs to a minimum.
PADI Courses:
All training courses purchased from Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center are to be completed within six (6) months from the enrolment date. Deferment or extension of the validity period will not be granted for any training course regardless of medical or personal reasons. No refund in full or in part will be given upon expiry of the validity period. To continue with the scuba program, the prevailing published rate for the scuba program at that time will apply.
Please note, refunds cannot be given for PADI materials purchased by us directly from PADI for courses. These can be used at any PADI Dive Centre worldwide for up to 12 months from the date of the first login.
Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center does not take responsibility for any injuries, loss of personal belongings, or death arising from the enrolment of any training course. By signing an appropriate medical statement upon enrolment of any training courses, participants are assumed to be in either a healthy condition or certified to dive by a licensed physician.
Training Courses – Additional Charges:
The number of training sessions (pool and open water) allocated is based on the course fees charged. Should participants fail to complete the skills within the allocated sessions regardless of medical or personal reasons and additional training sessions are necessary, the participants are required to pay a fee per additional session.
Cancellation by Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center:
In the case where cancellation has been made by Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center due to weather conditions as explained below or for any other reason:
· WEATHER CONDITIONS: If the weather on the day of your diving trip / open water dives of a course prevents us from having a safe and enjoyable experience you will be informed that the trip is cancelled or of the need to change the diving trip to another location or day.
In the event of light rain without strong winds or big waves, we will NOT cancel any dive trips, as it does not prevent us from having an enjoyable and safe experience. Quite often the weather will have changed by the time we reach the dive site or will be very different from where the day originated.
The dive schedule is subject to change without any prior notice in accordance with weather conditions for your safety. If Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center knows in advance that the weather on the day you would like to go diving will most likely prevent us from going to the dive destination as scheduled, we will advise you as soon as we know and let you decide if you like to change the dive trip to another day or cancel the trip for a full refund. Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center cannot be held responsible for adverse unforeseen weather conditions, involving rough seas and poor visibility.
· MINIMUM NUMBERS: We have a minimum number of customers required for all trips and courses. Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center will endeavor to meet our required minimum numbers. If, however, we do not meet minimum numbers, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.
Payment and Booking Conditions:
Payment with Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center is in cash on the day of the trip. For courses, we will ask you for a 50% Deposit or Full payment in advance to secure the booking. Bookings cannot be held, guaranteed, or confirmed until payment has been received. Course materials cannot be provided until we have received payment and registration details for each student.
All prices are advertised in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), and all prices include fees and taxes.
Divers Certification and Equipment:
Only certified divers may participate in scuba diving activities unless they are enrolled in a scuba training program or an Introduction Dive and are under the direct supervision of their certified Instructor or a Divemaster. All scuba divers must accept full and complete responsibility for themselves, their actions, and their equipment.
If a diver is unable to provide proof of certification, we reserve the right not to allow them to dive.
Divers may elect to use their own gear or use our equipment we provide. Regardless, divers must inspect their gear prior to each and every dive, and they must be responsible for the proper functioning of that gear. All divers should understand the fact that every piece of equipment is capable of failure, and they must be prepared to respond accordingly.
Responsibility and Liability:
Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center, its officers, employees, agents, and contractors are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, omission, irregularity, or nonperformance occurring in connection with these arrangements. The client understands and accepts all risks associated with any and all activities, including both land-based and water activities, air travel, car travel, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and boating. Divers acting irresponsibly can have an adverse impact on their fellow divers and the diving community. As a result, we will not tolerate unsafe, illegal, or irresponsible behavior.
Governing Law:
This contract shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of Egypt.
Right to Change:
Egypt Sea Explorer Diving Center reserves the right to change, alter, and / or delete these terms and conditions as well as any program outlines without prior notification.
